Carriageway patching will start on a Cleator Moor road from next week.
Cumberland Council said work would start on Tuesday, May 26, on Priory Drive, just off Ennerdale Road.
Work is expected to last for around four days, lasting for around four days, subject to weather conditions and site requirements.
The road will be closed from 8am to 4pm each day.
A diversion route will be in place.
Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will still be able to pass through the area and waste collections will continue as normal.
