A double-header at Maryport Rugby League Club on Saturday is part of an important charity day.
The club is staging two games and raising funds for The Sadie Reed Foundation.
This charity works in the local community to raise mental health awareness, break the stigma, and support local youth.
The two games feature the Maryport A team, who kick off their Cumbria Men’s League game with Millom A at 12.30pm.
That’s followed by the Cumbria Conference game at 2.30pm between Maryport and Seaton Rangers.
The clubhouse and bar will be open from noon and there’s a suggested donation of £3 at the gate when all proceeds will be donated directly to the foundation.
After the final whistle there’s free live entertainment from Paul Nicholson and Johnny Gash.
