A man from Darlington has been arrested after a bike was stolen from Pooley Bridge at the weekend.
Eden Police said the 38-year-old man was arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle in connection with the theft, which took place on Sunday, June 28.
Eden Police said: “This was a massive team effort with help from our colleagues in Durham, Eden Response and the Rural Crime Team.
“The stolen bike has also been recovered and will also be returned to its rightful owner in due course!”
