Vehicles will not be able to access the Windermere Ferry tomorrow between 7.50am and 5pm.
The B5285 through Near and Far Sawrey will be closed for surface dressing to be carried out tomorrow, Wednesday July 8.
Westmorland & Furness Council said the road will be closed from Lake Bank Coach House to Windermere Ferry between 8am and 5pm.
Pedestrian access and access for dismounted cyclists will be maintained.
The road closure order runs for three days but it is anticipated that only one day will be needed.
The ferry will be operating on its usual schedule that day but between 7.50am and 5pm will only be open to pedestrians and cyclists.
