Lake District supermarket workers have chosen to support an outdoor adventure charity for people with disabilities for the next 12 months.
Staff at Booths in Keswick voted for the Lake District Calvert Trust to be their charity of the year.
Georgia Naylor, corporate fundraiser for Calvert Lakes, said: “We’re so pleased the team at Booths Keswick have decided to support our amazing charity again this year.
“Thanks to all the staff who voted for us. The funds raised from this collaboration will improve access to life-changing adventures for people with disabilities, helping build confidence and bringing people together to share new experiences.
“We have lots planned for the next 12 months and can’t wait to get stuck in!”
Matt Welsh, store manager, added: “For the team, choosing our charity of the year is always an important decision, and we’re delighted to be supporting the Lake District Calvert Trust again.
“This partnership is about more than fundraising – it’s about coming together as a community to help make a positive difference for people with disabilities.
“We can’t wait to see our colleagues and customers get involved throughout the year, helping raise both vital funds and awareness for the fantastic adventures Calvert offers.”
The supermarket’s staff will support the charity through volunteering and fundraising events over the year.
Customers can also support the charity through a book stall, bucket collections, and by adding a micro-donation to their card payment at the checkout.
