A serious incident at Penrith horse trials has led to the event being cancelled.
The two-day event, due to run today, Saturday July 18 and tomorrow, Sunday July 19, was taking place at Frenchfield Farm.
It is run by the Northern Counties Horse Trials.
However, British Eventing published a statement on Facebook, announcing the cancellation.
It said: “Due to a serious incident that took place this afternoon, all competition at Penrith has been abandoned.”
