Emergency services searching for a missing man have discovered a body in a north Cumbrian forest.
Police said the man was discovered in Kershope Forest, north of Carlisle, at around 5.15pm yesterday, Tuesday May 12.
Cumbria police said the death was currently unexplained but was not believed to be suspicious.
The family of Mathew Gorton, a missing 21-year-old man from Penton, have been informed, the force added.
