[T]he family of a teenager who died following a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the C2042 (Carlise to Burgh by Sands) road on Easter Sunday have paid tribute to the 18-year-old, describing him as a beloved son who they were tremendously proud of.

That afternoon Jordan had enjoyed lunch with his family – a happy occasion.

Jordan was an enthusiastic worker for Eden Construction Services, often returning home dirty and tired but happy.

Jordan was like a firework, full of light and life. He burned brightly but we only had him for a short time.

We take comfort in our faith in Jesus and entrust him safely into his loving care.

His family, friends and colleagues will sadly miss him – mum Maggie, dad Steve, brother Matthew (17), sister Abi (10) and his girlfriend Chantel. Also grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and wider family.

They appreciate all the support from their family, church and friends at this time.
