[P]OLICE investigating an alleged racially aggravated public order offence are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
The incident is alleged to have taken place outside Shaha restaurant in Bothergate, Carlisle, at around 8.20pm on 16 April 2017.
A man aged 60 was arrested on suspicion of a racially-aggravated public order offence. He has been released from custody but remains under investigation.
Officers would like to hear from anyone with information about the incident who was in the vicinity of the restaurant and Tait Street.
