[P]olice are investigating a serious assault which occurred at approx 2:20am on Monday 17 April in the Mint nightclub on Botchergate in Carlisle.
The victim, a 31-year-old man suffered a cut to his head which required stitches.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnesses the incident or who has information to call PC2208 on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
