[P]olice are investigating a serious assault on a female which occurred at approximately 00:30am yesterday (20th April) on Rawlinson Street, Barrow in Furness, near the junction of Ramsden Street.
The woman, in her 30s, sustained serious non-life threatening injuries and police are requesting witnesses who may have either been in the area or witnessed the assault.
