Hazel Jones, Senior Fundraising Officer at Cumbria Wildlife Trust. The charity’s Win for Wildlife Lottery has now raised over £100,000 for wildlife.

[C]umbria Wildlife Trust has announced that its Win for Wildlife lottery has raised over £100,000 to support wildlife in Cumbria. The online scheme costs £2 to enter and every month participants are entered into a prize draw, including a monthly jackpot of £500.

Michelle Waller, Senior Development Officer at Cumbria Wildlife Trust said: “Since our Win for Wildlife lottery was launched 13 years ago, 1,919 winners have shared a prize fund of over £105,000 and they have raised an incredible £100,203. All profits go directly to protecting wildlife so we can guarantee that the money raised goes to keeping Cumbria an amazing place for people and for wildlife.”

Michelle explained: “The Win for Wildlife Lottery is a really hassle-free way of donating. Each month we have some great cash prizes on offer and there’s a far greater chance of winning than most lotteries. If you love wildlife then playing this lottery is something wonderful you can do to help protect it – and of course you have a real chance of winning £500 each month too!”
