[A]t 5pm on Sunday 30 April the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to a 10-year-old boy who had crashed into a metal post while riding a bike in Flimby.
A spokesman for GNAAS said: “The boy was assessed and treated by the GNAAS trauma team for potential head and chest injuries, before being flown to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool within 30 minutes.
“He arrived in a stable condition.
“The boy’s mother has since been in touch to inform us that his CT scan came back all clear.”
