Firefighters called to Carlisle grass fire

[F]irefighters were called at approx 9:10pm tonight to tackle a rapidly spreading grass fire in Melbourne Park, Carlisle.

The fire, just behind Allan’s scrap metal yard was soon brought under control by firefighters using a hose reel.
