[A] WOMAN accused of involvement in cannabis production in South Cumbria will go on trial next month.
Thuy Nguyen, 47, appeared at Carlisle Crown Court today (WED) in front of Judge Peter Davies.
Nguyen, a Vietnamese national, pleaded not guilty to the alleged production of class B cannabis. She also denied a charge which alleges that she dishonestly abstracted electricity without authority.
She is charged in relation to alleged cannabis production at an address in Arnside. This is said to have occurred on or before February 6 this year.
Nguyen, of no fixed abode, was informed by Judge Davies that she will go on trial at the crown court in the week of June 19.
In the meantime she was remanded in custody.
