[A] woman has been taken to hospital after her car overturned on the A689 at Brampton.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the A689, near to the roundabout for the A69 at 9:54am today, Friday 19 May.
Firefighters freed a woman from a black Renault Clio.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “The woman was taken to hospital, but it’s not believed that she has suffered any serious injuries.”
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “A car was on its roof and a female casualty was trapped inside the car.
“Fire crews from Brampton and Carlisle East fire stations got the female out of the vehicle and were on scene for around 30 minutes.”
