[K]endal College art students’ summer exhibition opens to the public this week, showcased in the newly opened Wildman Street art gallery.
The exhibition opens at a time when visualizing a new future is more relevant than ever. As these Foundation and Level 3 art, design and photography students progress onto their degree courses and make their contribution to the creative industries that the UK is renowned for, some of them will become names to watch out for in the future.
The summer exhibition, entitled “Open Studios” includes work from a wide range of creative arts; from product design, illustration, graphic design and fine art to textiles, costume, film and photography.
Many of Kendal College’s art students have achieved degree offers at some of the UK’s most prestigious universities in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds and Northumberland and will be leaving Kendal to continue their exciting creative journey and some of them are already award winners!
