[A] MAN who denied charges which alleged the making and possessing of indecent child images has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
When David Oliver Edwards appeared at Carlisle Crown Court earlier this year he pleaded not guilty to four allegations that he was facing. These were three counts of making indecent photographs of a child, and one alleging the possession of illegal images.
But when 27-year-old Mr Edwards appeared at the court again this week, prosecutor Jacob Dyer announced that no evidence was being offered on any of the counts by the Crown Prosecution Service.
As a result, Mr Edwards, of Frizington, was found not guilty on each of the four charges by Judge Barbara Forrester.
