[C]arnforth is right on track for a fun filled family festival of health and wellbeing as it holds its Health and Fun day on Saturday, July 15th 10.30am – 4.00 pm.
If you are in North Lancashire on the day, head for Carnforth High School, Kellet Road, LA5 9LS. Bring all the family and take advantage of everything on offer at this unique event.
Admission and parking and all activities are free.
A similar event was held last year and was attended by over 600 visitors. This event is being organised by members of Carnforth Rotary working with Carnforth High School and supported by Morecambe Bay Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)
The event will be opened by Cllr Pat Wooff, Mayor of Carnforth Town Council at 10.30am
There will be lots of opportunities to:
- Visit dozens of colourful stalls packed with information and advice on healthy living.
- Opportunities to take part in different activities including pilaties taster sessions and free swim vouchers
- Learn how to perform resuscitation techniques
- Make yourself a healthy smoothie using pedal power on our Smoothie bike.
- Face painting
and much, much more all free of charge
