[A] woman was trapped after her car overturned on Overend Road in Whitehaven.
Police were called at approx 8:55pm on Tuesday 25 July.
A Vauxhall Corsa overturned after colliding with a parked vehicle.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 20:58 firefighters were called to a road traffic collision involving one car on Overend Road, Whitehaven.
“Two fire engines from Whitehaven attended the incident and released one female casualty who was trapped in a car.
“Crews were at the scene for 40 minutes.”
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
