[A] CARLISLE man will be sentenced by a judge next month after he admitted two cannabis supply crimes.
Matthew Keith Hyden, 33, appeared at the city’s crown court today (MON).
During a short hearing before Recorder David Potter, Hyden pleaded guilty to supplying cannabis between June 25 last year and March 26, 2017.
He also admitted possessing the class B drug with intent to supply on March 25 this year.
The court heard Hyden had five previous convictions for nine offences – but none for similar matters.
Recorder Potter adjourned the case until September 1. In the meantime Hyden, of Petteril Street, Carlisle, was granted bail.
But Hyden was told by the judge that “immediate custody will remain very much uppermost in the court’s mind when it comes to sentence”.
