[A]t 8:30pm yesterday, Wednesday 16 August firefighters were called to rubbish, tyres and bushes on fire between Abbeytown and Seaville.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “The crews set up a water relay to get water to the fire and extinguish it with two hose reel jets.
“A ground monitor was also used at the incident to create a blanket of water over the fire.
“No buildings were affected by the fire.”
