[E]mergency services are dealing with a road traffic collision on the A595 at Blackbeck.
An air ambulance has attended the incident.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 2:14pm firefighters were called to a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A595 Blackbeck, Egremont.
“Crews released two people trapped by using cutting equipment.
“They also made the scene safe before leaving.”
The A595 was closed in both directions at the Blackbeck roundabout but has now reopened.
