Firefighters tackle Workington blaze

[A]t 3:52pm today, Friday 3 November firefighters were called to a fire involving wooden pallets and shrubbery on an allotment in Workington.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two main jets were in use to extinguish the flames.”
