[T]he planned Night At The Castle “Under The Stars” Christmas evenings at Lowther Castle will no longer be going ahead.
The Night At The Castle organisers said: “We regret to announce that, after thorough consideration and exhausting all options, the planned Night At The Castle “Under The Stars” Christmas evenings at Lowther Castle will no longer be going ahead.
“Unfortunately advance tickets sales have not reached a level for us to guarantee the quality of event that our team and customers expect and would be proud of.
“All payments will be refunded directly to customers by 8th December.

“We would like to offer our sincere apologies to everyone who bought tickets and thank them for their support and understanding.”
Lowther Castle’s Christmas markets, late-night shopping, wreath-making workshops, gin-tasting and a host of other season treats are running as planned.
