[A]t 2:18pm today firefighters were called to land near Eden Golf Club after reports of two people trapped in a car.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “One person had been rescued by a farmer by the time crews arrived.
“A swift water technician was deployed to rescue a man from a car.”
