[P]OLICE are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist suffered serious leg injuries following a collision in Morecambe.
Around 5.10pm on Friday (November 24), a 46-year-old man was riding his bicycle along Marine Road East, when he was involved in a collision with a small white vehicle turning right into Broadway.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene with the cyclist suffering serious injuries to his lower legs.
Sgt Claire Pearson of Lancashire Police said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to this collision.
“If you saw what happened or feel you have any information which could assist in the investigation, please contact the police.”
