Two hurt in Barrow attack

[P]olice are appealing for witnesses following a report that two members of the public were assaulted outside Holland & Barrett in Dalton Road, Barrow.

The incident occurred on the 30th November 2017 at around 3.05pm.

A man aged 24 and a woman aged 19 from Barrow, were approached by a man in the street who has then punched the victims and a struggle has ensued. The male victim has suffered no injuries and the woman some light injuries.

Police are requesting any witnesses who saw the incident to come forward. They are particularly keen to speak with anyone who could identify the offender, who is described as being white and in his early 20s, approx 5ft 6ins tall, with short brown hair. He was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a grey t-shirt and a two-tone dark hoody.

Anyone with information should contact PC 2322 Holmes at Cumbria Police quoting incident number 129 of 30 November 2017.
