
Star Wars, model railways and a Beatrix Potter collection are just some of the highlights in Mitchells Vintage & Antique Toy Sale later this month.
The sale, on Thursday July 30, features a private collection of Star Wars collectibles, which is expected to attract considerable interest among collectors worldwide.
The collection of boxed and unboxed items includes a large Darth Vader figure measuring 1m 23cm high with an estimate of £80 to £120.
A large quantity of diecast model vehicles, mostly boxed, is also for sale including a Techno Eddie Stobart diecast model with signed boxed estimated at £80 to £120.

Model Railways feature a G Gauge collection including a G Gauge Quarry Hunslet live Steam engine and a G Gauge 4-4-2 Adams Radial Tank, both with estimates of £600 to £900. A Bassett-Lowke 0 Gauge Locomotive Prince Charles is valued at £80 to £120.

A single owner collection of Beatrix Potter collectibles is also for sale comprising 19 boxed Steiff soft toys, including Pigling Bland, The Mouse Tailor, Benjamin Bunny and Tommy Brock, each with estimates of £60 to £80.
The collection also includes a range of over 50 Beswick and Royal Albert figurines, multiple sets of books, a jigsaw, a tea set and more.

Also for sale are further sets of books from a second collector.
Other items for sale include illustrated children’s books, tin plate toys, dolls, bears, Mamod steam models, Britain’s farm and soldiers, vintage comics and games consoles.

Lots are on view in the Cockermouth saleroom on Wednesday July 29 10am to 7pm and throughout the sale.
