[A] man who died as a result of a road traffic collision on the A66 at Threlkeld on Tuesday 19 December 2017 has been named as Alec Bond, 92, of Cockermouth.
Mr Bond died on Friday 22 December 2017 at Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
The death has been referred to the HM Coroner for Newcastle.
Investigations continue into the cause of the collision and anyone with any information is asked to contact PC691 Ormerod at Carlisle Mobile Support Group on 101.
