Schools in West Cumbria have issued safeguarding alerts following the discovery of a WhatsApp group.
Cockermouth School and Workington Academy have both issued alerts to parents and carers about the group, called 100 before 2027.
It is understood police alerted the schools to the group chat.
Parents and carers are urged to check their children’s phones to make sure they are not accessing the group or taking part in discussions.
Currently, little is known about the group or its origins.
If anyone’s child has joined the group or has information about it, they are asked to call police on 101.
