[A]t 1:57am today, Thursday 28 December Firefighters were called to reports of a vehicle fire on St Aidans Road, Carlisle.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews attended the scene and found that a van was well alight.
“Crews used two hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.”
At 7:47pm yesterday firefighters from Keswick, Frizington and Maryport were called to reports of a building fire in Loweswater.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Services said: “On arrival crews found the fire involved an outbuilding and all persons were accounted for.
“Crews used one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.”
