[A]t 16:43 firefighters from Penrith and Keswick attended a road traffic collision on the A5091 in Troutbeck.
The collision involved a car which had overturned and there was one casualty trapped in the vehicle.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters first stabilised the vehicle before using electronic cutting equipment to release the casualty.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately 1 hour.”
