Police hunt Carlisle tyre slasher

[P]olice are investigating damaged caused to two vehicles on Wednesday 17 January 2017 at 11:03pm on Creighton Ave in Carlisle.

Six tyres were deliberately slashed.

A male in a puffa jacket has been seen to approach the two vehicles and interfere with three tyres from each vehicle, before leaving the area.

Police are appealing to members of the public who were in the Creighton Avenue area at the time or live in the Creighton Avenue and may have seen this male; or anyone acting suspiciously within the Creighton Avenue area at the time.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 referencing incident 69 of 18 January 2018.


Police are also investigating a case of criminal damage to a black Vauxhall Corsa which was parked in the car park to the rear of the Ukrainian Club, Silloth Street, Carlisle.

This occurred between 08:30 hours and 17:40 hours on Tuesday 16th January 2018.  Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident.
