[A] Penrith man has appeared before a judge at Carlisle Magistrates Court charged with alleged rapes, two charges of sexual assaults and two allegations of assaults on a female 13 or over.
Lee Savage, 25, gave an address of Skiddaw View, Penrith, the alleged offences took place on January 8 at Penrith.
Also on May 22 an allegation of a sexual assault on a female aged 13 or over and one alleged assault of a sexual nature, also an allegation of rape between April 1 and May 31, 2016.
A further allegation of false imprisonment on January 8, a two-allegations of sexual assaults on January 9 and an allegation of rape.
A further allegation of rape from May 22, 2015, one alleged charge of assault also in Penrith on dates between January 1 and May 21, 2015.
Savage will next appear from custody at Crown Court on February 19.
