[W]orkington Town Council will be hosting a family fun day at Moorclose Community Centre on Saturday 31st March 2018 from 1pm – 4pm.

The fun day will be the first of four fun days the Council will be putting on in 2018 and will include spring crafts, storytelling, birds of prey, sports, chalk art, face painting, glitter tattoos, and festival dots.

All activities are free of charge and admission to the event is on a first come first served basis so arrive early to avoid disappointment, plus the first 100 children will receive a free Easter egg.

Cllr Antony McGuckin, Chair of the Council’s Culture Committee commented, ‘we are delighted to be able to provide Moorclose with a fun day this year, as we have done for a number of years, and we are grateful to South Workington Youth Partnership for putting on the activities for us.  Last year the event was attended by around 50 children, so we are hoping we can build on that this year’.

Come along to the Moorclose Family Fun Day on Saturday 31st March from 1pm-4pm.  All activities free of charge.
