Workington Academy Students Talk Football In New Podcast

Popular Side Pod Team: Dylan Reay, Thomas Finlay, Carl Spencer and Andrew Smith

[F]our Year 12 students at Workington Academy have launched a new football podcast on Apple Podcasts. Andrew, Thomas, Carl and Dylan are the hosts of this Workington Academy Radio production.

Named ‘Popular Side Pod’ after the stand with the same name at Workington Reds Stadium, Borough Park. The podcast features:

  • Premier League round up, where they discuss the latest premier league games and news.
  • Workington Reds round up, where they discuss all things Workington Reds.
  • Million Pound Drog, a quiz where they have to guess a different footballer every week.
Popular Side Pod Team Leader, Thomas Finlay

They have commanded listeners from all around the word, including United Kingdom, South Africa, USA and Japan.
