[P]olice are investigating an assault which occurred between 12.30am and 1am on 2 April 2018 at the Kirkby Stephen Sports Social Club, Market Street, Kirkby Stephen.
The victim, an 18-year-old from Kirkby Stephen, sustained a deep cut to his head and a broken bone in his left hand during the assault.
Anyone who witnessed what happened or who has any information which may assist is asked to contact police referencing incident 127 of 2 May 2018.
