[S]hortly before 11.15am on Saturday 26 May 2018 police were called to reports of the concern for the welfare of a teenager in a field near Dewhirst Road in Rochdale.
A spokesman for GMP said: “Emergency services attended but the teenage boy sadly died.
“The three teenagers who were taken to hospital for treatment have been released.
“An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death remains on-going and a file has been passed to the coroner.”
