[P]olice have confirmed that a 64-year-old woman who was found deceased within a property on Cant Crescent, Carlisle, has been formally identified as Lorraine Shepherd.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Following the post mortem police have released a 31-year-old man from Carlisle with no further action.
“The investigation relates to a report received by police from North West Ambulance Services at 10.55am on the 31st May.
“The death is now being treated as non-suspicious and the coroner has been informed.”
