[A]fter one of the locals from Greenodd suffered a hearth attack it was only due to the fast actions of NWAA that his life was saved.
Once he was back home a group of his friends decided to organise a fund raiser for this deserving charity. It was quickly realised that a night in the pub with a band was not going to be enough! So Wear Your Wellies was born. It takes place this Saturday 9th June in a field at Oxen Park (LA12 8HG), with 10 bands / artists playing everything from Bluegrass and Jazz to Rock. Camping is available
Everyone has been so generous they have a tombola and silent auction, welly wanging and face painting. There’s a beer tent , hog roast, food stands and ice cream
It is going to be a great event let the lovely weather continue BUT you can still Wear Your Wellies!
