[T]he summer heat is really set to rise when Rosehill Theatre welcomes back Scottish-born Hardeep Singh Kohli.

Hardeep will join Jon Fell, head chef of The Green Room restaurant at Rosehill Theatre, on Saturday 28 July in preparing a tasty Indian-inspired supper before recounting his life and times in his own comic style!

The evening starts at 6.30pm for a two-course Indian-themed supper followed by the performance in the auditorium at 8pm.

Hardeep is a much-respected and award-winning broadcaster, comedian, writer and chef. He also sits on the board of the National Theatre of Scotland.

He is well known for BBC Radio 4 shows such as Hardeep’s Sunday Lunch and Pick of the Week, and has regularly fronted programmes for BBC Radio 2, BBC World Service and BBC Asian Network.

As well as performing at Rosehill earlier this year during the week of Burns’ Night, his previous visits have been for his shows The Nearly Naked Chef and Chat Masala.

The event on 28 July is presented as part of the weekend’s Taste Cumbria food and drink festival in Whitehaven.

Tickets, which include the two-course supper, are £35 and are available to buy at www.rosehilltheatre.co.uk or from the box office on 01946 692422.
