Secrets, suspicion and murder are coming to the stage in Grasmere this month.
The Grasmere Players are bringing Agatha Christie’s iconic thriller And Then There Were None to Grasmere Village Hall.
Ten strangers are lured to an isolated island. Each carries a deadly secret from their past.
Directors Matty Jackman and Paul Davies said it was an ambitious production, which will combine dramatic staging, atmospheric lighting and sound, and a talented local cast to bring Christie’s masterpiece vividly to life.
The directors said: “This is one of the greatest murder mysteries ever written. Audiences can expect suspense, surprises, and a great evening of theatre.”
Performances take place on June 4, 5 and 6 and June 11, 12 and 13, with a matinee on Saturday June 13.
Tickets are £12 for adults and £6 for under-18s.
Tickets are available online at https://www.trybooking.com/uk/events/landing/110006
Tickets are also available via Barney’s News Box in Grasmere and on the door, subject to availability.
