Carlisle Crown Court

[A] MAN who denied a string of alleged sexual offences has appeared at Carlisle Crown Court.

Antony Marek Bar, 57, pleaded not guilty to a total of 10 charges during a short hearing earlier today (FRI) in front of Judge James Adkin.

These were three alleged sexual assaults, one alleged attempted sexual assault, three exposure allegations, two charges alleging voyeurism and one count alleging the incitement of a child to engage in sexual activity.

In light of Bar’s not guilty pleas, a timetable for the progress of the case was outlined.

A trial, estimated to last four to five days, is due to start at the crown court on November 26.

In the meantime, Bar, of King Street, Aspatria, was granted bail by Judge Adkin.
