Police appeal after properties damaged in Carlisle

[P]olice are appealing for information following five reports of criminal damage.

The incident occurred at properties on Whernside, Carlisle,  at around 8:15pm, on Friday 10th August 2018.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Planes of glass were broken at all three properties on the estate.

“Two young males were seen walking passed the addresses at the time.

“The males are described as, around 5′ 5” tall, slim build, short fair hair wearing a red jacket and pushing a peddle cycle.

“The other male is described as being 5′ tall, slim build with short dark hair wearing a dark coloured top.”

Anyone with information regarding this incident should call PC 2221 Brownrigg on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police are also investigating damage caused to two properties on Fusehill Street, Carlisle.

The incidents occurred just after midnight on Saturday 11th August 2018.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Windows were smashed at both properties.”

Anyone with information should call PC 2065 Marrs on 101, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
