Police are investigating a burglary at a farm yard in Crossthwaite which occurred over the Bank Holiday weekend.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Unknown offenders, believed to be during the night have stolen high value farm equipment and machinery.”
Police are appealing for witnesses in the area of Crossthwaite who may have heard or seen anything untoward.
