Cumbria Police are to open a new Police Desk in Ulverston. As of Tuesday, 4th September a police desk will be open in the new location of Ulverston Market Hall.

This is to replace the Coronation Hall Police desk which closed last week as part of relocation plans. A member of police staff will be available from 9am till 1pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for police related enquires and advice for members of the public.

Ulverston Police Sergeant, Rupert Johnston, said: “The Coronation Hall Police Desk has been very well received since it’s opening but due to capacity at Coronation Hall the decision was made to relocate.

“The Police Desk is an invaluable local amenity and the opportunity to set up in the Ulverston Market Hall presented itself and is an ideal central location.

“We look forward to welcoming members of the public to use our service at this exciting new location.”
