Police investigating a number of burglaries of businesses in Carlisle city centre have charged three men.
Tjay O’Neil, 27, of Welsh Road, Carlisle, Dean Anthony Smith, 25, of John Street, Carlisle, and Tyler Nunn, 21, of John Street, Carlisle, were due to appear before North Cumbria Magistrates’ Court in Carlisle today.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The charges follow inquiries into a number of burglaries in recent weeks at businesses including bars and shops.
“Nunn is charged with conspiracy to burgle premises in Carlisle city centre, attempted burglary, burglary and offering to supply class A and class B drugs.
“O’Neil is charged with conspiracy to burgle premises in Carlisle city centre, burglary and fraud.
“Smith is charged with burglary and fraud.”
