Police are investigating an assault, at Market Square, Keswick outside the Moot Hall in the early hours of Sunday 7th October at around 03.15am.
A man struck another man in the face with a glass bottle in an unprovoked attack. The victim received a gash to their lower lip.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The suspect is described as being a white man of skinny build with short brown hair, and speaks with a Merseyside accent. At the time he was wearing a dark puffa-style bomber jacket and dark trousers. He is estimated to be aged around 28-30 years.”
