TWO men have been told by a judge to expect prison sentences after admitting playing parts in a West Cumbria cocaine supply plot.
Chad Jamieson, 24, and 22-year-old Jordan Anthony Thomas Malkinson each faced one charge when they appeared at Carlisle Crown Court.
Both Jamieson and Malkinson pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply a controlled drug of class A – cocaine.
This is said to have occurred between April 1 and October 31 last year.
No details about the pair’s offending were given during a short court hearing in front of Judge James Adkin.
Their case was adjourned by the judge, who asked for background information on both defendants to be provided by the probation service.
Jamieson, of Nethertown Road, St Bees, and Malkinson, of The Larches, Egremont, were granted bail, and told that they would receive their respective punishments later this week.
Judge Adkin told the two men: “You should both expect custodial sentences but I am prepared, exceptionally, to grant bail until Friday when I will deal with you.”
